· Manage to measure the performance of Bus fleet service & maintenance operational capability, performance of technical inspection and ensure that the fleet service & maintenance activities done as per the contractual obligation with the contractors.
· Ensure achievement of targeted results in each key performance area as outlined in the plan.
· Promptly report all accidents and/or potential hazards.
· Manage budget and special projects including the activities of outside vendors and contractors; develop project budget and track expenditures for compliance; and review and approve special requisition and payment including billings for materials, supplies, and services.
· Ensure all the environmental aspects in responsibility are identified and actions are taken prior to ensure compliance to the health & safety Environment HSE standards.
· Comply with the RTA’s quality standards and requirements
· Manage and provide all the support for the main maintenance bases and Depots including site visits.
· Ensure efficient, courteous, and timely services to all employees’ requests and inquiries
· Manage to forecast all technical inspection for Dubai Bus which can help increase performance and quality.
· Ensure achievement of the quality objectives as set forth in the Authority and department quality plan.
· Manage to conduct planned and random site visit to ensure and confirm that standard fleet service & maintenance test and inspection done by the contracting company, revision of depots conditions to evaluate its validity, fleet service & maintenance.
· Manage of fleet service & maintenance work; establish fleet service & maintenance standards, supervise on standard evaluation conducted by other dealers/contracting company.
· Oversee fleet service & maintenance data on bus under operation to keep bus utilization higher as possible, follow up of all fleet service & maintenance sectors and ensure work performed, completed smoothly and in a correct way.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering: Mechanical, Industrial, Management Engineering from a recognized university.
· At least 12 years of working experience in maintenance, familiarity with the inspection procedures.
· Excellent knowledge of road and transportation engineering practices, regulations, functions, systems, and procedures.
