Executive leadership role responsible for a major (>250 MM) multi-country region managing or performing work across multiple supply chain sub-families or develop/implement strategies that optimize the supply chain process
Planning addresses capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals and includes customer inventory planning, cargo planning, and strategies to improve logistics service center operations
Interacts with executive leadership and others concerning matters of significant business impact.
Manages multiple teams led by Senior Managers and Managers
Development of direct reports with maintained succession plan for role
Ownership of short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy execution and operational direction in alignment with parent/corporate organization objectives.
Decisions have a serious impact on the overall success or failure on area of accountability.
Manages, motivates, trains, develops and supervises all local procurement and subcontracts staff.
Supports local management with business strategies and new bid and project opportunities that require support from procurement and subcontracts.
Proactively identifies, develops, qualifies, and regularly meets with suppliers and subcontractors.
Establishes medium- and long-term career and personal development goals
Job Requirements:
Typically 20+ years since first degree and 15+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience
8+ years in a Manager role
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent years of experience
Strong knowledge of all facets of Supply Chain including Procurement, Subcontracts, Logistics & Expediting
Experience with Supply Chain Systems, Processes and Best Practice
Experience and knowledge of the Engineering and Construction Industry
Proven international experience in a matrixed environment
